Bennett Dorrance, the dreamer and visionary behind Scottsdale Hangar One, is a lifelong flight enthusiast and passionate aviator who has been a pilot since 1965. From his worldwide experience in private aviation, Bennett envisioned a hangar complex that provides the highest level of amenities, security, safety, and service.

Built in 2003, Scottsdale Hangar One is the first and only of its kind. A completely private jet hangar complex, Scottsdale Hangar One provides an unparalleled experience with world-class design, amenities, and security to its members and their guests. 

Since opening, Scottsdale Hangar One has evolved to meet the needs of our clients. Once a facility that simply offered hangars and light maintenance, Scottsdale Hangar One now offers aircraft storage, expanded maintenance services/management, flight scheduling services, pilot employment services, aviation related accounting services, and private event venues. 

Located adjacent to the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona, Scottsdale Hangar One is surrounded by luxury living, world-class shopping, upscale restaurants, and nearby golf. Our facility resides on approximately 5.8 acres with immediate access to Scottsdale Airport’s (KSDL) 8,249-foot runway. Our gated 130,000 square-foot complex includes two hangars with more than 50,000 square feet of secured space. Security is state-of-the-art with access limited to members, crews, and their guests. For the utmost in comfort and convenience, a generous covered launch area offers shade for loading, easing the glare and heat of the sun.
